I AM VERY CONCERNED WITH:

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY/TRANSPARENCY:

Someone needs to find out how our tax dollars are spent. The State and state agencies need to be accountable for spent dollars. In my opinion many state agencies have no oversight or accountability. I intend to boldly ask these questions without fear of losing my elected position.

PART- TIME LEGISLATURE:

Michigan needs a part-time legislature! Our current full-time legislature has too much time to write laws which take our freedoms, limit our liberties, and diminish our responsibilities. Someone asked me, "What laws are you going to work on writing?" I told them, "None! There are too many laws on the books now."

NO NEW TAXES:

The State in 2014 has a budget of $55 billion. Where does it go? Again, I am willing to ask the hard questions and demand answers. I will question every spending bill. I plan to question the State's spending priorities.

I AM 100% PRO-LIFE.

AS A LIFE MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION, I ABSOLUTELY WILL DEFEND OUR SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS.
